Squid Game 2 to When The Phone Rings: K-Dramas worth following in December 2024

November 2024 happened to be huge for the K-Drama world since they found dramas featuring two veteran actors, Gong Yoo and Ji Chang-wook. Their shows The Trunk and Gangnam B-Side are out on Netflix and Disney+Hotstar respectively, and December 2025 brings just as promising dramas. Here's all you should look forward to in December (with a few of them even coming to an end)...

Squid Game 2

Squid Game is back, and it is bound to get more intense. The series, an edge-of-the-seat thriller, which bridges the gap with reality shows, will be out on Netflix on December 26. According to reports, all episodes will be out just a day after Christmas.

Light Shop

Featuring Ju Ji-hoon in the lead role, Light Shop is the story of strangers who have not yet recovered from their past. They all get pulled into a light shop, which holds the key to their past, present as well as future. The series will start streaming on Disney+Hotstar from December 4.

Sorry Not Sorry

Featuring Jeon So-min in the lead role, Sorry Not Sorry is the story about a single woman with financial struggles after breaking off her engagement. The show will be out on Viki from December 5.

When The Phone Rings

If there is one show from November that has seen a constant rise in ratings, that is When The Phone Rings. Featuring Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin, four episodes of the show are out. The series will continue on Netflix through December every Friday-Saturday, and will finally end on Saturday, January 4.

Love Your Enemy

Another drama that has people hooked because of its enemies-to-lovers story is Love Your Enemy. Ju Ji-hoon and Jung Yu-mi play childhood enemies (for the world, lovers in private till things went wrong). The last episode in this series will be out on Sunday, December 29 on Viki.

The Fiery Priest season 2

Kim Nam-gil's The Fiery Priest has a fandom of its own and it only grows far and wide. The series' finale will be on Saturday, December 14.

Marry You

Lee Yi-kyung has done it again! Thr K-Drama featuring him with Jo Soo-min, Koo Jun-hoe and Ji Yi-soo has been loved constantly. The last episode in the series i.e. episode 10 will be out on December 15.

Brewing Love

A show that has been constantly liked is Kim Se-jeong and Lee Jong-won's Brewing Love. The series which streams over Monday-Tuesday on Viu, will end on Tuesday, December 10.
