Shraddha Kapoor to get Stree spin-off, here are others from the Maddock Supernatural Universe you need to watch out for

After the success of Stree 2 at the Box Office, the writer of the movie Niren Bhatt has confirmed that Shraddha Kapoor, who is seen as She (not Stree) in the franchise, will have a spin-off of her own. This is owing to the excitement and mystery around her character. Although not Stree, Shraddha's character (still intentionally unnamed) has supernatural powers, which were explored in Stree 2. The spin-off will see her as Stree's daughter. While we await that spin-off, here are a few from the franchise that are already available and some that have got us excited for their releases.

Bhediya

Varun Dhawan was introduced to the horror-comedy franchise as Bhediya (warewolf). He got his spin-off and then joined Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 in a cameo appearance. He now has Bhediya 2, also starring Kriti Sanon, from the franchise.

Vampires of Vijaynagar

Ayushmann Khuranna has been roped in to play a vampire in Amar Kaushik's Vampires of Vijaynagar. The same will mark his introduction to Maddock Supernatural Universe. It could also add in a lot of characters who currently exist in the universe.

Roohi

Hear us out. Roohi, starring Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma, might not have been the best out there, but there is buzz about Roohi 2. Who knows, it might be better this time around.

Akshay Kumar’s character from Stree 2 aka the OG Sarkata

Akshay Kumar's character from Stree 2 gave us a major hint that he is indeed the Sarkata the movie was based on. Akshay is bound to become a supervillain in the franchise ahead, so he will most likely have a spin-off of his own too, if not already play as big as role as Shraddha does in the Stree Universe.

Janardhan/Jana

Abhishek Banerjee's Janardhan aka Jana has been a constant in every movie from the universe. He began with Stree and was a part of both Bhediya, Munjya and of course, Stree 2 as well. Thus, even if he does not already have a spin-off, his character has a spin-off because it is what joins every film in the universe.

More from the world of Munjya

We do not even need to tell you about the kind of success Munjya enjoyed. Despite it being relatively new in terms of both concept and fresher faces, Munjya held well. This is a big hint that characters from this franchise will lead in one of the upcoming films, if not more.
