Kunchacko Boban was once the Bonafide romantic hero of Malayalam cinema with fans swooning over him after his very first film in a lead role, Aniyathipravu. His romantic movies with Shalini were especially a hit. But then the actor transitioned into more serious roles in the second innings of his career, and starred in thriller movies such as Bougainvillea, where his characters were a far cry from his chocolate hero roles. After a series of killings are reported, the police are wary, especially since the victims are also cops. Kunchacko Boban steps in as consulting criminologist Anwar Hussain to help the cops in the investigation. Sharafudheen, Sreenath Bhasi, and Unnimaya Prasad are also part of the film.
