Saiju Kurup probably had one of the best debuts in Mollywood as he entered the cinema world as the leading man in Mayookham, directed by Hariharan, who is known for acclaimed movies such as  Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha and Sargam. The film also marked the debut of Mamta Mohandas. 

In the movie, Unni and Indira are two childhood friends, but Indira leaves for the US. When she returns home years later, she finds Unni has become a wayward character and tries to bring about a positive change in him.

Saiju Kurup plays the lead role of Circle Inspector Das in this thriller film who has a strong liking for playing Antakshari. But his passion for music leads to an unlikely turn when he is challenged to play a game of Antakshari. When he refuses to play along, he is shocked to learn that they are targetting his daughter.

This hilarious crime comedy is directed by Jeethu Joseph, who is best known for the hugely popular Drishyam films. The story begins with a young businessman’s laptop seized by the IT officials. The young rich man makes fervent attempts to retrieve the laptop, leading to a series of misunderstandings and mishaps. Saiju Kurup too adds to the humour on screen with his witty dialogues and particularly owns a courtroom scene when he gives a testimony in a divorce case.

The film follows Radhamani, an ordinary woman who works as a boat conductor. After her daughter is admitted to the hospital, she is desperately looking for money to pay the bills. More trouble awaits her, but the determined Radhamani is ready to go to any extent to reach her end goal. Saiju Kurup played the role of her husband Sreekumar, who works in the Gulf and has his own set of problems. This film marked the return of Navya Nair to Mollywood after a long hiatus.

The film takes us to a rural village in Kerala and follows the hilarious antics of a bunch of friends. Abhi is crestfallen after he gets to know that his love interest Chandrika's marriage has been fixed. But his friends vouch to help him and reunite him with her.
