Nerkonda Paarvai is about three young women who must face a court case after they are harassed by rich and exploited boys. The film extensively talks about the women harassment that plagues the society, and propagates the message ‘no means no’.

Gargi explores the POCSO Act of India, and the moral stands that the titular character has to take in such a sensitive issue.

Thamizhan stars Vijay, Priyanka Chopra in her only Tamil film so far, Revathi, Nassar, Ashish Vidyarthi and Vivek and others.
