This is one of the career-defining movies of Vidya Balan. It's a story about a small-town woman named Reshma who leaves her village due to a burning desire to become an actress and grace the silver screen in Chennai. Her meteoric rise as ‘Silk’ catapults her into stardom, but the intoxicating allure of celebrity begins to subtly alter her identity.

Ishqiya (JioCinema)

This is another memorable movie of Vidya Balan. It's a story about two goons – Khalujan and Babban, who fall in love with the same woman named Krishna, the widow of their friend. Soon Khalujan and Babban try to exploit Krishna to fulfil their deep and cunning desires. But more twists are unravelled from Krishna’s side.

Te3n (SonyLIV)

It's a story about a 70-year-old grandfather named John Biswas (Amitabh Bachchan), who is desperately searching for his kidnapped granddaughter. Soon he reaches out to a priest and a police officer for helping in finding her. Together, the trio unravel several mysteries and find the truth.

Salaam-E-Ishq (JioCinema, ZEE5)

It's an anthology story about six couples who are struggling with unforeseen challenges in their relationships and are forced to live apart from one another. Their love stories face a crucial test as they strive to overcome these obstacles and find a path back to each other. Vidya Balan and John Abraham played one of these couples as Tahzeeb and Ashutosh.
