Stree 2 to Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha: Bollywood movies releasing in theatres in August 2024

August 2024 is one of those months of the year which will make moviegoers happy. This month, Bollywood has a lot of interesting films to offer that too with a variety of genres. Bollywood movies releasing in theatres in August 2024

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha

Tabu and Ajay Devgn are coming together yet again, but this time for a musical romantic film, after ages. The film is said to showcase the lives of star-crossed lovers over two decades. With powerful performances, the film promises an unforgettable cinematic journey. The film also stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar as the younger versions of Ajay and Tabu's characters. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is set to release in theatres on August 2. 

Ulajh

With a powerful cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, and Roshan Mathew, Ulajh is an edge-of-the-seat thriller. The narrative of the film revolves around a young woman who gets caught in a perilous world of high-stakes intrigue. The film promises an action-packed and gripping tale with amazing performances. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, Ulajh is set to release in cinemas on August 2 competing at the box office with Ajay Devgn's Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.

Stree 2

One of the most-anticipated films of the year, Stree 2 is all set for an August release. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are set to reprise their roles in the horror-comedy sequel promising to bring back a lot of laughter with a dash of horror. Just like the first part, the film will bring a lot of scares and laughs with a gripping narrative and some fresh perspective. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee. The film will release in cinemas on August 15. 

Khel Khel Mein

Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Fardeen Khan, and Aditya Seal, all come together for the comedy thriller Khel Khel Mein. The film is an official remake of the 2016 Italian comedy film titled Perfect Strangers. The narrative of the film revolves around a group of friends whose dinner reunion takes a surprising turn when they start revealing each other's secrets. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is slated to release on August 15. 

Vedaa

John Abraham and Sharvari starrer Vedaa is an action thriller. The story of the film is about a young woman who faces a repressive system bravely. John plays Sharvari's guru in the film who teams up with her to fight the injustice. With emotional moments, the film promises to be an out-and-out action drama. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Vedaa will release in cinemas on August 15. 

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein, John Abraham's Vedaa, and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 are all competing at the box office on the same day - August 15. While Janhvi Kapoor Ulajh and Ajay Devgn's Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha will lock horns on August 2.
