Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan has emerged victorious in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The actor-politician has become an MLA from the Pithapuram constituency. Pawan Kalyan, who won with a vast majority, made his political debut about a decade ago. Sardaar Gabbar Singh is a 2016 Telugu action-comedy film which serves as a sequel to the 2012 film Gabbar Singh. Sardaar Gabbar Singh revolves around a fierce and brave cop who stands up for the villagers whose land is usurped by a ruthless thug. KS Ravindra has directed the film.
Jalsa – Aha
Jalsa is an action-comedy film released in 2008 and starring Pawan Kalyan, Ileana, Parvati Melton, Kamalinee Mukerji and others. The film is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and is about a man whose past chases him into the present, creating havoc in his life. Jalsa was a commercial blockbuster upon its release and went on to become the highest-grossing Telugu film of the year it was released in. Mukesh Rishi, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Ali, and Sunil appear as supporting characters.
Annavaram – ZEE5
Annavaram is a 2006 Telugu film directed by Bhimaneni Srinivasa and stars Pawan Kalyan, Asin and Sandhya in the lead roles. It is a remake of the Tamil film Thirupaachi and marks Asin's last Telugu film. The film revolves around a loving brother who comes to the city where his newly married sister is staying. However, trouble brews in the new land as he collides heads-on with a local thug.
Balu – ZEE5
Balu is a crime-action film released in 2005. The film is directed by A Karunakaran, who also wrote it. Starring Pawan Kalyan, Shriya, Neha Oberoi and others, the film became an average grosser upon its release. The film has music by Mani Sharma and Ramesh Babu cranked the camera.
Bheemla Nayak – Aha
Bheemla Nayak is a 2022 film directed by Saagar K Chandra with a screenplay penned by Trivikram Srinivas. The action thriller is official remake of 2020 Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum, with Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati playing the lead roles. Exploring the theme of male ego, the film revolves around a conflict between a righteous cop and ex-havildar. It also stars Nithya Menen, Samuthirakani, Samyuktha and others.
