This romance drama is a standout movie, showcasing Ranveer Singh’s versatility as an actor. Mostly known for his energetic and quirky performances, Singh delivered a nuanced portrayal in this movie. Although he has worked with almost all the top actresses in Bollywood, his chemistry with Sonakshi Sinha is undeniable in Lootera. The story takes us back to 1953, when an aristocrat's daughter, Pakhi, falls in love with an archaeologist, Varun. However, his double life threatens their enduring relationship.

Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai

This crime drama boasts an ensemble A-list star cast of Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda and Prachi Desai. Devgn and Hashmi’s combination is one of the highlights of the movie. The story follows two gangsters, Sultan Mirza and Shoaib Khan, who want to rule Mumbai on their own terms with their social powers and influential business ideas.

Ek Thi Daayan

Although Emraan Hashmi is widely known for his sensuous and romantic characters, this is the first time he has worked in the horror genre. And he successfully pulled it off. The story of Ek Thi Daayan follows Bobo, a famous magician, who is struggling with the persistent hallucinations of his dead sister. As he's on the verge of getting married to his long-term girlfriend, he makes a decision to cure the disease by visiting a psychiatrist. What's the horrific twist waiting for him?

Kyaa Kool Hai Hum

This comedy drama has received so much love from the audience that its makers have released two more sequels to it. Starring Tusshar Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Isha Koppikar, and Neha Dhupia, the story is about two men, Rahul and Karan, who dream of living a luxurious life, but their little salaries keep them from doing so. When they get kicked out of their apartment for not paying the rent, they hunt for rich girlfriends.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha (LSD)

While newcomers usually try their luck in cinema with soft and romantic films, Rajkummar Rao debuted with this crime thriller. The film shows two stories where hidden cameras capture the violent crime of a couple. An MMS scandal is on the verge of ruining a woman’s life. In another one, we get to see how a woman becomes a victim of sexual exploration.

Ragini MMS

Soon after making his debut with LSD, Rajkummar Rao once again showed his versatility with Ragini MMS. This movie is about CCTV cameras capturing the private moments of couples, with a mixture of terrifying supernatural incidents. The story follows a young woman who goes on a trip with her boyfriend and a group of friends to a deserted farmhouse, which is deep inside a forest. Just when they are ready to make some love, the couples begin to witness a series of paranormal activities.

Krishna Cottage

If you are a fan of the horror genre, Krishna Cottage is a film that you will never forget. Although it didn't do well at the box office, the narrative and Isha Koppikar's performance gave many chills. The film follows a group of college students who are forced to take shelter in a mysterious cottage due to the weather change on their way to a destination. Little do they know that they will encounter a spirit whom they thought was a friend.
