Basil Joseph brings to life Joymon, who is fed up with his lonely life in Canada, and returns to Kerala to celebrate his birthday with his friends. But the birthday party celebration is hampered after a man dies in the neighbourhood. Lal, Arjun Ashokan, Ganapathi S Poduval and Balu Varghese are also part of this film, directed by Chidambram.
Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (JioHotstar)
Basil Joseph is joined by Darshana Rajendran in this film, directed by Vipin Das that narrates the ordeal of a newly-married woman in her husband’s house. But she literally chooses to fight against the odds in the Malayalam film, which questioned several stereotypes. Basil is once again fabulous as Rajesh, the husband.
Jeethu Joseph, known for Drishyam, attempts a crime comedy film with Basil Joseph in the lead. Basil plays a rich businessman who will go to any extent to get back his laptop which has been seized by the IT officials. Basil Joseph, along with Grace Antony, amps up the fun as the plot gets complicated and more hilarious characters enter the picture.

Basil Joseph played mild-mannered Manuel in this thriller film, which also has Nazriya Nazim as the formidable Priya. After Priya’s elderly neighbour goes missing, she suspects Manuel’s actions. Both Basil and Nazriya bring their A-game, ensuring that the film will keep you hooked to the very end. Sookshmadarshini is considered one of the best thrillers in Malayalam in 2024.

Asif Ali headlines the film as a lawyer, handling the divorce case of Amminippilla. Basil Joseph too plays a lawyer, named Pilakul Shamsu. The song, Uyyaram Payyaram, which has Basil Joseph in his element, is still a favourite among fans.
