Given that it's been a week since the release of Stree 2, Akshay Kumar's cameo in the horror comedy garnered attention, and rightfully so. In the film, Rudra Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) uncovers that someone from a mental asylum sent the anonymous letter about Sarkata, prompting him, Vicky (Rajkummar Rao), and Jana (Abhishek Banerjee) to seek clues from this individual. We learn that the man (Akshay) is a descendant of Chandrabhan, explaining that only a being that is "half of both" can defeat Sarkata.

In a post-credits scene, the descendant of Chandrabhan anonymously receives a vessel containing Sarkata's remains and absorbs its energy, transforming into a powerful being. This provides a significant hint that Akshay has entered the horror-comedy universe of Maddock Films and appears poised to become a formidable antagonist.

Akshay Kumar has also made memorable special appearances across various films. From his debut cameo in the 2002 Marathi film Aadhar to his recent role in the 2022 action film An Action Hero, the actor's brief yet impactful appearances often leave a lasting impression. His roles range from a fictionalised version of himself in Om Shanti Om to a party-loving character in Dishoom, showcasing his ability to seamlessly blend into different genres and narratives.

In the film, Akshay Kumar makes a special appearance, his first ever in his acting career. In his cameo appearance, the actor also speaks fluent Marathi.

In Aadhar, when one member of Janaki's (Aishwarya) family experiences a problem after another, she, as the sole breadwinner in a family of six, suffers through a string of financial and familial hardships. Will she ever be able to relax and enjoy life after being the rock for her doomed family?

Om Shanti Om (Netflix)

Gauri Khan produced the 2007 romantic fantasy film Om Shanti Om under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, with Mayur Puri and Mushtaq Shiekh serving as co-writers and Farah Khan as director. Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Kirron Kher, Shreyas Talpade, and Deepika Padukone (making her Hindi film debut) are the film's stars. Om Shanti Om features a slew of cameo appearances; one of them is Akshay Kumar. In the film, the actor portrays a fictionalised version of himself who grieves over losing the Best Actor Award to Shah Rukh Khan.

The plot centres on Khan's reincarnation of Om Prakash Makhija as superstar Om Kapoor, who seeks revenge on Mukesh Mehra, the powerful husband and producer, and Padukone's portrayal of the well-known actor Shanti Priya, whom he harboured a crush on in the 1970s.

Chalo Dilli (ZEE5 and ShemarooMe)

Shashant Shah directed the 2011 film Chalo Dilli. It stars Vinay Pathak and Lara Dutta. It also features guest stars Akshay Kumar and Mallika Sherawat. In a brief cameo, Akshay Kumar plays Mihika's spouse, Lt. Col. Vikram Singh Rana. Chalo Dilli draws inspiration from the Steve Martin comedy "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles."

A successful Mumbai investment banker named Mihika Banerjee (Lara Dutta) must find a way to see her husband, Lt. Col. Vikram Rana (Akshay Kumar), in Delhi after missing her flight. On her way to Delhi, she meets Manu Gupta (Vinay Pathak), and the two of them learn about the vibrant Indian culture. They travel by train and car, giving viewers a glimpse of India's vast urban centres as well as its smaller rural towns, such as Nua in Rajasthan. Along the way, Mihika faces several challenges that her privileged upbringing had never prepared her for. After having her train ticket purchased with stolen money, Mihika finds herself compelled to accompany Manu in the ordinary class as they go through Jhunjhunu District. As a result, the film centres on Mihika and Manu's journey through challenging times.

Bhaji in Problem (Netflix)

Smeep Kang, whose previous films were Carry on Jatta and Lucky Di Unlucky Story (both of which starred Gippy Grewal), directed the 2013 Punjabi comedy Bhaji in Problem. Gurpreet Ghuggi portrays a man named Sundeep Cheema, who has two wives. Jasmeet (Khushboo Grewal) and Anu (Misha Bajwa) are Cheema's wives, but they don't know each other exists. They think he's away from them half the time for work. Although Sundeep is living his life to the fullest, the arrival of Jeeta (Gippy Grewal) throws his dualistic equilibrium into disarray. Sundeep is strongly opposed to Jeeta's (Ragini Khanna) romantic involvement with Preet. In a hilarious back-and-forth, both Sundeep and Jeeta know one another's darkest secrets—Sunderdeep knows Jeeta's infamous background, while Jeeta knows Sundeep's dual life. In the ensuing game of charms and cunning, the two buddies run into even more trouble.

Prior to the final match between Pakistan and India, two police officers, Kabir Shergill and Junaid Ansari, embark on a 36-hour manhunt after top batsman Viraj Sharma goes missing in the Middle East.

Naam Shabana (Netflix and ZEE5)

The 2017 release of the action thriller Naam Shabana, written by Neeraj Pandey and directed by Shivam Nair. Starring alongside Ranveer Singh, Sonu Sood, and Sara Ali Khan in Shetty's Cop Universe, the third installment is Ajay Devgn, who makes a brief return as Singham. Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao, a corrupt police officer from the same town as Singham, finds himself compelled to adopt a more moral life when tragedy strikes those close to him. It is a remake of the 2015 Telugu film Temper.

In a cameo appearance as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar later plays the title role in Shetty's 2021 film.

After unintentionally murdering the brother of a vicious politician (Ahlawat), the film's action star (Khurrana) flees the scene.
