Ashutosh Gowariker starrer crime thriller series Manvat Murders was released today, October 4 on SonyLIV (OTTPlay Premium). The story centers around the real events of the brutal murders that shook Maharashtra in the 1970s. Set in a remote town near Parbhani, Maharashtra, called Manvat, a brutal series of crimes took place in the early 1970s. Seven murders, including those of women and young girls were killed. In the series, DCP Ramakant Kulkarni (Ashutosh Gowariker) was assigned to the case. While investigating, he uncovered some dark secrets involving Rukminibai (Sonali Kulkarni) and her sister, Samindribai (Sai Tamhankar).
