Nishikant Kamat directed Force, a 2011 action thriller. Genelia D'Souza, Raj Babbar, Mukesh Rishi, Mohnish Bahl, and Kamlesh Sawant make cameo appearances alongside John Abraham and Vidyut Jammwal in the film's main roles.

Arvind Shetty, an informant, helped him and his colleagues Atul, Kamlesh, and Mahesh Pandey catch drug dealers in Kutch, Gujarat; Jalandhar, Punjab; and Himachal Pradesh. Without realising it, he cleared the way for Vasu Anna Reddy to become the lone drug dealer and recruit his brother Vishnu, who was living in Mombasa, to join him. A team confrontation results in Vasu's death, and the other players face disciplinary action. A furious Vishnu proceeds to exact his vengeance on the whole police force and their families, pledging not to rest until he has eliminated them all. He starts by savagely murdering Mahesh and Rachna, then kidnaps Atul's wife, Swati. His goal is to convince Atul to eliminate the rest of the police squad.

Aayutha Ezhuthu (Sun NXT [OTTplay Premium]) - Yuva (Netflix)

In 2004, Mani Ratnam directed the political action film Aayutha Ezhuthu. Featuring Suriya, R. Madhavan, and Siddharth as the protagonists, the film is partially based on the life story of George Reddy, a scholar from Osmania University in Hyderabad. Bharathiraja, Janagaraj, Trisha, Sriman, Meera Jasmine, and Esha Deol all make cameo appearances. It is worth mentioning that this is Esha Deol's first film in Tamil and her sole appearance in a Tamil film to date. The film's title was derived from the Tamil letter ஃ, which represents the three distinct characters in the film, all hailing from different social classes.

The plot centres on three main characters: the thug Inba (Madhavan), the powerful student leader Michael Vasanth (Suriya Sivakumar), who is after politicians, and the naughty and carefree son of an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, Arjun Balakrishnan (Siddharth). Arjun rescues Michael from an Inba, the politician's "henchman," and Michael sows the seed of political ambition in Arjun's heart; therefore, the game of politics becomes a common thread in the lives of these three aliens. Students at the university urge Selvanayagam (Bharathiraja) and other politicians to stay out of campus politics. Unfortunately, this journey will present more challenges than expected. Do you think they'll come out on top?

Filmmaker Mani Ratnam directed the 2004 political drama Yuva. A tragic event on the Howrah Bridge in Kolkata affects the lives of three young guys from diverse social backgrounds in the film. The story's narrative unfolds through hyperlinks. Along with Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor, and Esha Deol, it also features Rani Mukerji.

The story of Yuva follows three kids from different walks of life. Ajay Devgan plays Michael, Vivek Oberoi plays Arjun, and Abhishek Bachchan plays Lallan. Michael, an idealistic student-politician, aspires to one day rid the political system of its corruption. The egocentric student Arjun dreams of making America his permanent home. A crooked politician (Om Puri) employs Lallan, who aspires to unrivalled power, through his henchman, Sonu Sood. He will stop at nothing to accomplish his goals. These three children, who have no idea each other exists, eventually find themselves in each other's paths. Suddenly, irrevocable changes occur in their lives.

Ghajini (Sun NXT) - Ghajini (ZEE5 [OTTplay Premium]; Prime Video)

Salem Chandrasekharan produced and A. R. Murugadoss directed the 2005 action thriller Ghajini. The film's major stars are Suriya and Asin, with Pradeep Rawat playing the antagonist and Nayanthara and Riyaz Khan rounding out the cast.

The protagonist, Sanjay Ramaswamy (Suriya), was a successful businessman before he suffered a brain injury trying to protect his fiancée, Kalpana (Asin), from a mobster (Pradeep Rawat). As a result, he suffers from anterograde amnesia. Following this, he gets permanent tattoos and uses Polaroid instant photos to exact revenge for her murder.

A. R. Murugadoss made his debut in the Hindi cinema industry with the 2008 action movie Ghajini, which he also co-wrote. Aamir Khan, Asin, Jiah Khan, and Pradeep Rawat are among the film's stars.

Following a brutal assault on himself and his fiancée, Kalpana, the film follows powerful entrepreneur Sanjay Singhania as he experiences anterograde amnesia. Not only is this Jiah Khan's penultimate film before her 2013 death, but it is also Asin's first Hindi feature.

Singam (Prime Video; Disney+ Hotstar; Sun NXT [OTTplay Premium]) - Singham (Prime Video)

Hari directed the 2010 action flick Singam. In his 25th film, Suriya stars as the lead alongside Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj, and Vivek in the inaugural chapter of the Singam franchise.

When it comes to Rajolu, Inspector Narasimha is brave and trustworthy. Tensions between the two led to Narasimha's transfer to Vizag, a city under the control of the notorious gangster Purushottam.

Farhad-Sajid and Yunus Sajawal wrote the 2011 action flick Singham, while Rohit Shetty directed it. The series begins with Shetty's Cop Universe. Along with Prakash Raj, who reprises his original role, and Kajal Aggarwal, Ajay Devgn plays the lead character of Bajirao Singham, a police officer.

Ajay Devgn stars as Inspector Bajirao Singham, who uses his unique moral compass to root out corruption, bigotry, and injustice in the little village of Shivgad, close to Goa. Prakash Raj portrays Jaykant Shikre, a formidable criminal and politician who confronts the upright and diligent police officer. Singham, now stranded in enemy territory, must face his greatest test to date: staying true to his values while vanquishing an overwhelming foe.

Soorarai Pottru (Prime Video) - Sarfira (Theatres)

Sudha Kongara and Shalini Usha Nair co-wrote the script for the 2020 drama film Soorarai Pottru. Jyothika and Guneet Monga co-produce the film, which stars Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, and Paresh Rawal, with Mohan Babu, Urvashi, and Karunas in supporting roles.

The film was based on the life story of G. R. Gopinath, author of Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey, who founded the budget airline Simplifly Deccan in India.

In this film, Nedumaaran Rajangam, better known as Maara, is the son of a teacher. With the support of his loved ones and his own determination, he takes on the world's most capital-intensive business in his mission to make normal people fly.

Sudha Kongara's 2024 drama Sarfira features Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, and Akshay Kumar in leading roles. In spite of opposition from various quarters, the film follows a guy as he embarks on a mission to provide low-cost airline tickets.
