Kauravar

The iconic actor-director duo of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty and Joshiy delivered one of their best films in 1992, with Kauravar. The much-loved gangster drama featured the megastar in the role of Antony, an ex-convict, in the movie. Kannada superstar Vishnuvardhan made an extended cameo appearance in the role of police officer Haridas IPS, who adopts Antony’s daughter. Kauravar still remains one of the finest gangster films ever produced in the Malayalam cinema.

Meleparambil Aanveedu

Mannar Mathai Speaking

Cast: Mukesh, Saikumar, Innocent, Vani Vishwanath

This blockbuster sequel of Ramji Rao Speaking, which is helmed by Mani C Kaappan, narrated the hilarious story of the iconic trio, Balakrishnan, Gopalakrishnan, and Mannar Mathai (played by Saikumar, Mukesh, and Innocent, respectively), who are running a drama troupe. However, the trio’s life changes again after a mysterious woman named Meera, played by Vani Vishwanath, enters their life.
