Announced as Project K, this magnum-opus’s original title, Kalki 2898 AD has been revealed recently. This sci-fi extravaganza marks the Pan-Indian debut of Deepika Padukone. With mind-blowing VFX and gripping storyline based on the last avatar of Lord Vishnu, Kalki 2898 AD has already made a staggering Rs.600 crore budget in making. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also features Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Hasaan, Dulquer Salmaan, Disha Patani, Rana Daggubati and Saswata Chatterjee in pivotal roles. Even Rrr-director S S Rajamouli and Ram Gopal Varma will be making cameo appearances. It is currently scheduled to release on May 9, 2924.
Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are back with their striking cop universe with Singham Again. This action-thriller marks the third sequel of Singham film series, and the fifth project from Shetty's cop universe. Apart from Devgn in the lead, the film has a star-studded cast like Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Vicky Kaushal, Jackie Shroff and Shweta Tiwari. The film has till now pulled Rs.200 crore budget. It is currently eyeing a Diwali release, as filming is not finished yet.
Allu Arjun is back with a sequel after the massive success of the 2021 original film. Although the sequel was already announced soon after Pushpa’s release, pushpa 2’s new posters and teaser stunned netizens. Fans are already gushing over the film, calling it another crowd puller already. It is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs.500 crore. It is scheduled to release on Independence Day, August 15, 2024.
Marking her Pan-Indian debut, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in a very important role in Koratala Siva's Telugu magnum-opus. The action-thriller also marks the first ever collaboration between Jr. NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. With epic battles and action sequences, Devara is going to be a blockbuster. It is said that the film has a budget of Rs.300 crore. Devara is coming soon on October 10, 2024.
Kamal Hasaan’s Indian 2 is one of the most awaited sequels of 2024. It's been almost 3 decades since Indian was released. This Suriya-starrer magnum-opus follows ancient Indian mythology and folktales. With epic historical action sequences and gripping storyline, Kanguva tells the story of a massive conflict between God and evil. Starring Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in pivotal roles, Kanguva has a budget of Rs.350 crore. Although the exact date has not been announced, the Tamil film is expected to release at the end of 2024.
