Movies featuring Abir Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya and Mimi Chakraborty are all gearing up for their theatrical releases soon

Fans of detectives Feluda, Byomkesh and Ekenbabu are in for a treat this year, with Sandip Ray’s Hatyapuri, Arindam Sil’s Byomkesh and Joydeep Mukherjee’s The Eken gearing up for their theatrical releases this year.
Bengali production company SVF Entertainment recently revealed their list of upcoming releases that cover a wide range of films from dynamic thrillers to radiant romantic tales. Entertainment powerhouse and versatile talents such as Srijit Mukherji, Anirban Bhattacharya, Mimi Chakraborty, Sandip Ray, Abir Chatterjee, Anirban Chakrabarti, and many more are all set to shower the silver screens with their magic and charisma.

The Eken
The charming sleuth, Ekenbabu, is all set to surprise the audience with his sharp wit and presence of mind. Anirban Chakrabarti will once again engage in a battle of intelligence. The talented duo Debasish Mondal and Suhotra Mukhopadhyay will play prominent roles in the movie along with Paayel Sarkar.

X=Prem
Srijit Mukherji’s X=Prem is about an unusual journey of four very different individuals. This movie is all about love, challenges, turmoil and unexpected crossroads. Arjun Chakrabarty with debutants Anindya Sengupta, Madhurima Basak and Shruti Das will be seen in this story about extraordinary human emotions and a selfless journey.

Kuler Achaar
Kuler Achaar is a tale about the daily war that women of our society have to wage to stand against the dysfunctional belief system of our society. An independent modern woman refuses to change her surname after marriage and a typical middle-class family feud breaks out. Kuler Achaar features an ensemble cast of Madhumita Sarcar, Vikram Chatterjee, Indrani Haldar and Neel Mukherjee.

Khela Jawkhon
Director Arindam Sil is back with an engaging thriller that narrates a tale about a grieving mother who lost her only child in a horrific car accident. The mother gradually gets drawn into a bottomless pit of nightmares with the strange vision of violence. Soon, she finds herself fighting through sheets of reality and dreams. Loads of twists and turns in store. Mimi Chakraborty, Arjun Chakrabarty and Susmita Chatterjee can be seen playing the key roles in this electrifying psychological thriller.

Byomkesh
This edge-of-the-seat thriller is based on Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s incomplete story Bishupal Bodh, which brings back the iconic sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi after almost four years. Sohini Sarkar will play the character of Satyabati once again while Suhotra Mukhopadhyay will be seen as Byomkesh’s trusted companion Ajit.
