It took a wait of a week for Light Shop mystery to finally be revealed. Last week, Seol-hyun's character Lee Ji-young caught people's attention for being at the centre of everything bad that happens. The series began with her appearing to make a kill. It was believed that she might have killed Uhm Tae-goo's Kim Hyun-min. This week, though, things are drastically different. Their story is explored, and it is a love story that is breaking netizens over-and-over. The mystery behind the characters are out and to say it is heartbreaking is also an understatement. Kim Hyun-min's mother receives hate, while Lee Ji-young gets showered with love over her acts of love

The vicious ghost from last week is no longer seen as the negative character on the show. Seol-hyun's Lee Ji-young has a story to tell, and it is breaking hearts. Her love story has netizens shedding tears because of how the very emotion is everything for her even in the afterlife.

Lee Ji-young and Kim Hyun-min's story

Kim Hyun-min got into a bus accident while Lee Ji-young thought that their relationship is not working out. He had been trying hard to win her over and on her birthday, he even desired to propose to her with a ring. While she kept ignoring him for a while and he kept trying, it was just before he got into a bus accident, that she wrote back, stating that she misses him. Before crashing onto the side of the bus, Hyun-min read the message. Now, he is in coma. However, his mother was misinformed of his demise. Ji-young, who called the ambulance over the bus accident, tried to find her lover. Not able to, she called up his phone. The phone was with Hyun-min's mother who has beef with Ji-young. After declining the call, the mother texted Ji-young that Hyun-min died in the accident because of her message. Already devastated, Ji-young was prepared to hang herself to death. Just as she made her move, the father pushed the mother to inform Ji-young that Hyun-min is alive, but in coma. Just as Ji-young was breathing her last, she saw the message. She even tried to save herself to be there for Hyun-min, but failed to do so. After all the struggling, she turned a ghost who met Hyun-min's ghost self. He had very little will to live and thus, fell on his way to home. She, who is almost ending her third day since dying, stitched up his soul so that her lover can live. And that is how she has been spending the rest of her days on Earth - trying to help her lover stay alive in the real world.

The bus accident

The bus accident was the core reason for all of the events which unfolded. While many died in the accident, some are still in coma. Nonetheless, all the ghosts are still stuck to the ghosts of their loved ones in one way or another. There's a love story, an LGBTQIA+ love story with an age gap, and a mother-daughter story. All of it has been winning internet over, the proof of which are the reactions from across.
