LGM (Let's Get Married), bankrolled by Dhoni Entertainment  and helmed by Ramesh Thamilmani, hit screens worldwide today. The film is billed as a feel-good romantic comedy, and Harish Kalyan shares screen space with actresses Nadiya Moidu and Ivana. The film marks Dhoni's foray into filmmaking and according to a spokesperson from Dhoni Entertainment, Dhoni calls it a clean film that one could watch with their entire family.

The film's producer Sakshi Dhoni, too, had stated during the film's audio launch that it was Dhoni's love for Tamil Nadu that he decided to make his maiden venture in the language. In the meantime, the film has opened to mixed reviews from the audience, with many calling it a boring affair.

OTTplay critic P Sangeetha wrote in her review, "Director Ramesh Thamilmani's LGM is so uninteresting and exasperating, courtesy its weak screenplay, poorly etched characters, cliches and forced humour that you soon run out of patience. In short, his debut film, LGM is what one would call Thala Dhoni's worst innings till date!"

A user wrote on his Twitter handle, "#LGMReview Interesting plot but bad screenplay and serial style direction bores like a one sided test match...Fans feel sorry for #MSDhoni that #LetsGetMarried  is his first film as producer #Sakshi #Ivana #HarishKalyan #Nadhiya #YogiBabu #LGM (sic)."

Another user wrote, "LGM review: Average plot line treated very badly with screenplay. Yogi Babu tries to save this film otherwise completely screwed up (sic)."

Check out a few more reviews below.

Ramesh Thamilmani has also composed the music. While the cinematography is by Viswajith Odukkathil, editing is by Pradeep E Ragav. This is Ramesh Thamilmani's second collaboration with MS Dhoni after his graphic novel , Atharva: The Origin, which featured Dhoni as a superhero. The film marks Dhoni Entertainment's maiden production and it looks like the innings hasn't begun on a great note.
