It’s well known that popular cricketer, former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is turning a new leaf as a producer with his first Tamil production titled Lets Get Married a.k.a LGM. He is bankrolling the film under Dhoni Entertainment. Ramesh Thamilmani is the director and music director of the much-awaited project headlined by Harish Kalyan, Ivana.

After commencing its promotional activity in the Tamil market, the makers have revealed that the film will have a grand Telugu release as well. Apart from the lead actors, Nadhiya too plays a crucial role in the film and the decision to release it in Telugu doesn’t come as a surprise. Harish Kalyan, post Jersey, is a reasonably well known face among audiences while Ivana’s popularity skyrocketed her post the surprise success of Love Today. Nadhiya is meanwhile a regular in the industry.

LGM, which also features RJ Vijay and Yogi Babu, has already wrapped its filming and the post-production formalities are progressing at a brisk pace. Dhoni, along with his better half Sakshi, is expected to attend a promotional event in Chennai soon where the songs and the trailer will be unveiled. Leading music label Sony Music has acquired the audio rights of the fun fare.

With cinematography by Viswajith Odukkathil, the film is edited by Pradeep E Ragav. Ramesh Thamilmani has written the story, screenplay and dialogues as well while Shravan Solanki (DEPL), Kannan P are the executive producers. Priiyanshu Chopraa is the creative producer of the same. K Ganesh handles the stunts and Arun Venjaramoodu is the art director.

The writer-director-music director Ramesh shares the film is a blend of humour and family elements and calls the film a comedy-family drama. “It is a heartfelt journey that will make you smile and also touch your souls. We are grateful for all the love and support for LGM’s promotional content,” he added. LGM’s teaser garnered over 7 million views across multiple digital platforms.
