Ivana on LGM: It was a laugh riot on the sets every day - Exclusive

Ivana, who made her debut as a lead actress in Love Today, is gearing up for the release of her sophomore project, LGM, which is all set to hit screens on July 28. The film is bankrolled by MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni's Dhoni Entertainment and directed by Ramesh Thamilmani. Ivana, needless to say, is quite excited about the project.

"This is Thala Dhoni's first film in Tamil and my friends and family are quite excited. We are working with such a big crew who are great company as well. It was wonderful to team up with such a senior and successful actress as Nadiya ma'am. I have a lot of combination scenes with Yogi Babu sir in this project, which wasn't in Love Today. I wouldn't say that the film is targeted at 2K kids, but LGM is something that will appeal to all generations."

Ivana says the shooting for the film was a lot of fun and that it was a laugh riot. "Despite the fact that Nadiya ma'am was so much senior to me, I could get along with her easily. Harish and RJ Vijai would make fun of everyone on the sets. Nadiya ma'am would give an effective counter to that. I was constantly telling the director that the shoot is going in a fun way. During the post-production, the director called me and said that the shoot was fun, it's the post-production work that's turning out to be challenging."

On her upcoming projects, Ivana says she is busy with her Telugu project. It's titled Selfish and the shooting is underway. The film is bankrolled by Dil Raju sir."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Dhoni Entertainment says that Dhoni enjoyed watching LGM. "He watched the film recently and found it to be a clean comedy that one could watch with their children and elders in the family. It is a fun-filled entertaining film."

The film stars Harish Kalyan, Nadiya Moidu and Ivana in the lead and is directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, who has also composed the music. While the cinematography is by Viswajith Odukkathil, editing is by Pradeep E Ragav.
