Leo: Trisha posts a surprise pic from Lokesh Kanagaraj's film, extends birthday wishes to co-star Vijay

Thalapathy Vijay turned 49 today and wishes have been pouring in for the star from across several quarters. Fans of the star had more than one reason to celebrate the occasion today as the first look poster and first single from Leo were released today.

With four months left for the movie's release, it is more or less confirmed that the makers have kicked off the promotions in style. The team is likely to come up with more surprises in the coming days.

As if these aren't enough, Trisha, who plays a crucial role in the project, revealed another picture from the set of Leo, which was clicked at Kashmir. Both the actors are seen sporting stylish jackets while posing for the photo amid a splendid view of a beautiful mountain.

The actress has also wished her co-star on his special day along with the picture on her social media post, leaving cinephiles thrilled. The duo is teaming up after 15 years for the much-awaited gangster flick. Kuruvi, which was released in 2008, was the last movie which brought them together. Leo marks their fifth collaboration after Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi and Kuruvi.  

Fans of the two stars are now eager to know if any song has been filmed on one of the evergreen pairs in Kollywood. There have been reports of Madonna Sebastian shaking a leg with Vijay for a special song in Leo. Movie buffs are curious to know if Naa Ready, the first single, will surpass the YouTube views of Arabic Kuthu and Vaathi Coming.

The film is hitting screens on October 19 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Netflix acquired its OTT rights a while ago for a huge price.
