While the trailer launch was a moment to celebrate for Vijay fans across the globe, there was another surprise in store for Trisha and singer Chinmayi fans. Yes, you have guessed it right. Chinmayi has dubbed for the actress after a long gap, in not one but three versions of Leo - Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. The singer shared her excitement through a social media post this evening.

“I am a million times grateful to Mr Lokesh Kanagaraj and Mr Lalit for having taken this stand. THAT. IS. MY. VOICE. IN. LEO. FOR. TRISHA. And guess what? I have dubbed in Tamil, Telugu AND Kannada,” Chinmayi posted a tweet. She was flooded with congratulatory messages on returning to dub in Tamil films post a sabbatical. She’d earlier dubbed for Trisha in 96, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa too.

A fan, showering her love upon the singer and congratulating her for Leo, tweeted, “This is so so awesome. Time others took a stand like this too. Don't think this will last longer. Hugs.” Another social media user wrote, “Good things takes time. Justice takes forever. rockstar!”

Sharing her experience of returning to dubbing, Chinmayi wrote, “When I faced the mic in the studio. I teared up. I wasn’t sure if my voice will be retained. That I was not allowed to work. I am not sure what the future holds. But I am happy.” Trisha too went onto thank Chinmayi on dubbing for Leo. Responding to the latter’s tweet, the actress added, “And I am so grateful to you. Thank you Chin.”
