With just two months to go for the release of Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film, Leo, it looks like the post production work is on in full swing. Now, the latest we hear is that Malik Streams Corporation, one of the leading production and distribution company has bagged the distribution rights of the film and is all set to release it in Malaysia.
Taking to their social media handle, Malik Streams made the official announcement, "BLOODY SWEET! IT’S OFFICIAL MAKKALEYY We are thrilled to announce our NEXT. BIG. RELEASE. And we ain’t kidding! Proud to present #LEO in #Malaysia this 19th October 2023 in all big screens. It’s going to be a massive celebration, #Thalapathy fans are you guys ready? Exciting updates coming your way. Stay tuned! NAAN READY THAAN, VARAVAA? (sic)."
They also dropped a short montage from the film, featuring Thalapathy Vijay and also confirmed the film's release date as October 19. In the meantime, the team of Leo had recently wrapped the patch work for the film in Kashmir and the post production has now begun.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on the first-look poster of Arjun Sarja, whose birthday falls tomorrow ( August 15). It is to be noted that the team had released the glimpse of Sanjay Dutt's character Antony Das on his birthday day recently.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Leo is one of the most awaited projects of the year. The film marks the comeback of the hit onscreen duo Vijay and Trisha after a span of 14 years. The duo had earlier teamed up for Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi and Kuruvi. The rest of the star cast includes Arjun Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Sandy Master, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, to name a few.
Leo is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and The Route, marking their debut in film production.
