Leo, The Village to Sathiya Sothanai: Tamil OTT releases on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Sony LIV and more

It looks like a packed week for Tamil movie buffs as a slew of films are gearing up to hit screens on OTT. While the much-awaited premiere of Leo is all set to drop on Netflix on November 24, Arya's OTT debut The Village will stream on Prime Video. And this apart Premgi Amaren's long-delayed Sathiya Sothanai is also set for release. Here's a look at all three.

Leo

Netflix made the official announcement of the film's digital premiere on November 24. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will stream in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. While Vijay will be seen in a dual role in the film, as Parthiban and Leo Das, the rest of the star cast comprises Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Sandy Master, Mathew Thomas to name a few. The plot revolves around Parthiban (Vijay), who runs a cafe in Kashmir, gets drawn into a drug cartel who claim that he was part of the gang.

The Village

Arya's OTT debut, The Village, is helmed by Milind Rau. The makers have explored the theme of the undead in the new series. Things go awry during a family road trip when they get stuck in the middle of a village. We get glimpses of zombie-like creatures emerging from a blood-soaked tree, which are driven by an insatiable thirst for human blood. Arya fights against the relentless killing spree of the monstrous entity. The series also stars Ashwin Kkumar, Abishek Kumar, Pooja Ramachandran, Muthukumar and Pillai Divya among others.

Sathiya Sothanai

Premgi Amaren's long-delayed film is written and directed by Suresh Sangaiah, who had earlier helmed Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu. Sathiya Sothanai is said to be a hilarious misadventure of an honest man Pradeep (Premgi Amaren) who, while returning gold ornaments from a murdered corpse, becomes a victim of false accusations. The ensemble star cast includes Premgi Amaran, Swayam Siddha,Reshma Pasupuleti, KG Mohan, Selva Murugan, Lakshmi and Haritha.
