Vijay Antony's elder daughter Meera committed suicide early this morning

The team of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo was supposed to drop its next poster as part of its poster series. The team has already revealed the Telugu and Kannada poster and fans were awaiting the Hindi poster this evening. But the team has now postponed the decision.
Leo team offers condolences to Vijay Antony
The team made the decision after popular music composer and actor Vijay Antony lost his elder daughter Meera this morning. 16-year-old Meera committed suicide early this morning and it is said that she was battling depression. Ever since the news came out, condolences have been pouring in from across the world. The production house of Leo, too, shared on its social media handle, "Deepest condolences to @vijayantony sir for the unbearable loss. Our prayers are with you & your family! We respect & believe it's appropriate to postpone today's #Leo poster reveal to tomorrow (sic)."
Kannada and Telugu poster out
The Leo Kannada poster features stylish Vijay in an intense avatar and a gun. The tagline says, 'Keep Calm and Plot Your Escape. The Telugu poster featured Vijay in the bitterly cold weather in Kashmir. Both the pictures took the internet by storm. Leo will be the first movie of Vijay to have an IMAX release and according to the makers, is also the first Tamil film to have ticket bookings six week ahead of the release.
Leo cast and crew
The film marks the reunion of the hit pair of 2000s, Trisha and Vijay. The supporting cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand to name a few. While Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music, Manoj Paramahamsa has handled the cinematography and Philomin Raj has handled the editing. The film is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and The Route, marking the latter's debut in production. Leo will hit screens worldwide on October 19.
