​The shoot for Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming outing Leo is happening in full swing in Kashmir. The team has been regularly dropping one picture after the other from the set. The latest to share a picture is the film's dialogue writer Rathnakumar. Taking to his social media handle, Rathnakumar shared a picture of himself with a dog from​​ the freezing Kashmir. He also asked fans to not read too much into the picture and that it was just a picture of him with a dog.

The Meyaadha Maan director while talking to the media had revealed that the team had shared all the updates and that the next will be provided only after certain portions are shot. He also said that expectations can be high as the film is being made on a large scale.


Rathna Kumar had shared his excitement about teaming up with his friend Lokesh kanagaraj. Taking to his social media handle, he wrote, "Cant describe in words & i m not good with expressions either. Guess SCREAMING will do justice to my happiness. 3rd time with Nanban @Dir_Lokesh after #Master & #Vikram. Once Again & this time for Actor #Thalapathy. Welcome machi @DeerajVaidy.Thank you Universe (sic).

The star cast for Leo includes Vijay, Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sanday Master, Mathew Thomas, Manobala to name a few. Music is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj. Leo has been bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palaniswamy's The Route.

Leo is slated as a pan Indian project, which will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi on October 19. The title will remain the same in all the four languages. The digital rights of the film have already been bagged by Netflix and the satellite rights have been bagged by Kalaignar TV.
