Thalapathy Vijay's Leo has finally dropped in theatres. Ahead of the film's release, director Lokesh Kanagaraj penned a heartfelt note, in which he shared his experience working in the film. Lokesh usually pens a note a day before his film's release and Leo is no exception.
Lokesh Kanagaraj calls the experience surreal
The filmmaker said that he felt very emotional and surreal with less than a few hours to go for the film's release. His note read, "I want to thank my dear Thalapathy Vijay na for giving his everything to bring my vision forward. I will always respect you for the immense dedication you've shown us all."
He added, "And I would like to thank each and everyone who has put their blood and sweat into this project. It's been more than a year since we started working on Leo and it has been a continuous run working day and night to present the film to you. I'Il cherish each and every moment of working in this film, and learn multiple things from the fantabulous cast and crew."
Lokesh's request to fans
The director also urged his fans to not share any spoilers of the film. On the question of whether the film is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe or not, Lokesh said, "And to answer all your questions if this film comes under 'LCU' or not, you'll find out in a few hours."
Leo opens to packed houses
The film is considered one of the most hyped films in Tamil cinema. The film has done some record business even before its release and has opened to packed theatres across the world. Leo stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand, Sandy Master, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas to name a few. The film is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and The Route.
