Leo: Kerala rights of the Vijay-Trisha film acquired by THIS production house

The Kerala rights of Thalapathy Vijay's Leo has been bagged for a whopping amount by the popular production house, Gokulam Movies. Gokulam Gopalan of the production house stated that he is proud to present the film in Kerala, which stars people's favourite Vijay in the lead and is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Sharing a video of the same, Seven Screen Studio, which is bankrolling the film, wrote on its social media handle, "Kerala Makkale, namakku thakarkaam Get ready as @GokulamMovies is all set to present our prestigious movie #LEO in Kerala Happy to be associated with #SreeGokulamMovies for the Kerala release #LEOwithSreeGokulamMovies #Leo (sic)."

The shooting for the film is currently underway in Andhra Pradesh and pictures of Vijay from the sets recently did the rounds on social media.  A large gathering of fans had assembled in front of the set and Vijay was seen waving at them. Interestingly, the shoot for the film has been happening at different locations across the city.

Leo has an ensemble star cast which includes Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Sandy Master, Mathew Thomas, Babu Antony, Kathir, to name a few. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramhamsa and editing by Philomin Raj. The single, Naa Ready, which was sung by Thalapathy Vijay, Anirudh Ravichander and Asal Kolaru, has already become a chartbuster.

Leo is emerging as one of the most-hyped projects of Vijay. The film also sees the comeback of the hit onscreen duo Vijay and Trisha after a long hiatus of 14 years. Interestingly, during the promotions of Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan 2, Trisha was constantly asked about updates on Leo, which left the team surprised. Leo is slated to hit screens in October and hence, the shoot is happening at a brisk pace.
