We had earlier reported that the makers of magnum opus K.G.F, Hombale Films, are all set to make their entry into Malayalam cinema. The film is billed as an action-packed socio thriller, which will be directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and scripted by Murali Gopy.
The latest we hear is that Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in as the composer of the film. If the news is indeed true, the film will mark his big debut in Malayalam. Social media has been abuzz with the news of the same. However, an official confirmation is awaited.
It is to be noted that the Leo composer is extremely popular in Kerala and his songs in his recent outings like Master, Thiruchitrambalam and Vikram were a rage in the state. The news of Anirudh's Malayalam debut has come as a huge pleasant surprise for his fans.
Anirudh is currently working in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo, and the first single from the film, Naa Ready was recently released. The song has already clocked more than 25 million views.
Naa Ready is a peppy dance number, with lyrics penned by Vishnu Edavan and sung by Vijay, Anirudh and Asal Kolaru (of Bigg Boss Tamil fame). The song has been choreographed by Master Dinesh and has Vijay shaking a leg. Leo is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
As for Tyson, the film is set against the backdrop of contemporary India. Tyson is billed as a pan-India project, which will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. The film marks the third collaboration between Prithviraj and Murali Gopy, after Empuraan and Lucifer and Prithviraj's fourth directorial.
The producers had earlier revealed that Tyson will have some of the best talents roped in from across industries and that the content-driven film will be made on a super grand scale to appeal to all kinds of audiences.
