The team of Leo recently dropped the first-look video of Sanjay Dutt's character from the film on the occasion of his birthday (July 29). The video of his character Antony Das, a man with a killer swag, had set the internet on fire. Now it looks like the team is all set to drop Action King Arjun's look from the film on the occasion of his birthday on August 15. Social media is already abuzz with the news.
While the glimpse of Antony Das continues to set the internet on fire, Sanjay Dutt has called the journey of Leo, an epic one. Taking to his social media handle, the Bollywood star wrote, "The teaser is just a hint of the epic journey that lies ahead. Thank you team for this gift (sic)."
Lokesh wrote, "Earlier, Lokesh Kanagaraj had thanked the actor for his contribution to the film.Meet #AntonyDas A small gift from all of us to you @duttsanjay sir! It was indeed a pleasure to work with you! #HappyBirthdaySanjayDutt #Leo (sic)."
Leo marks the sophomore collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj, after Master (2021). The film has an ensemble cast comprising Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Sandy, Mathew Thomas, Babu Antony to name a few. Interestingly, Leo marks Sanjay Dutt's debut in Tamil and the comeback of the hit onscreen pair Trisha and Vijay after a span of 14 long years.
Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj. The dialogues are penned by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. Anbariv have handled the stunts.
The film is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and The Route and is slated to hit screens in October, 2023. Leo is one of the most anticipated films in Tamil cinema and the hype has been the highest for a Vijay film till date.
