With more than a month to go for the release of Leo, ticket sales seem to be on fire. The action entertainer marks the sophomore project of Lokesh Kanagaraj with Vijay, after their last outing Master. Leo is gearing up to hit screens on October 19.

Tickets fly off the shelves
Ahimsa Entertainment, which is distributing the film abroad in the UK market has announced the beginning of the ticket sales. The official social media handle announced that within a few minutes of the beginning of the advance booking, ticket sales are on fire. Their caption read, "Wow, what a response! #LEO's UK ticket sales are on fire. Shows are filling up in less than 30 minutes, and there's still over 40 days to go. #Thalapathy craze (sic)! It is to be noted that the release of the action entertainer is only after 40 days. The ticket sales in India are yet to begin and fans are eagerly awaiting the same.

An ensemble star cast
The film marks the comeback of the hit onscreen duo Vijay and Trisha after a span of 14 years. Leo also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Sandy Master, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Babu Antony to name a few. The team had recently dropped the first-look videos of Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja, who play the brothers, Antony Das and Harold Das respectively.

Post-production in full swing
The team is currently providing the final touches to the action entertainer, which is said to be one of the most awaited projects of the year . Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, editing by Philomin Raj. The action sequences are canned by the mocobat camera, which was also used in Lokesh Kanagaraj's previous outing, Vikram that starred Kamal Haasan in the lead.

Leo OTT rights
Leo is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and The Route, marking their debut in film production. The digital rights of the film have been bagged by Netflix. According to reports, the sale of streaming rights has fetched a whopping Rs 125 crore.
