Lavanya Tripathi's sports a striking gold saree for her reception: Here's how much it cost

Lavanya Tripathi, one of the most popular heroines in the South, tied the knot with Tollywood star Varun Tej on November 1, 2023, in Italy. The wedding reception was held in Hyderabad on November 5 and the entire film industry was present to bless the couple. Varun and Lavanya sported Manish Malhotra's designer wear at the event and we have exclusive details about the cost of their dresses.

While Varun sported a black Indo-Western suit with gold work, Lavayna sparkled in a striking gold saree that was specially designed by Manish Malhotra. Well, we have exclusively come to know that the saree costs Rs 3.5 lakh.

The gold saree became a hot topic of discussion, which Lavanya carried with style and panache at her reception. For her Italian wedding, Lavanya had worn a red saree which cost a whopping Rs 10 lakh.

Varun sported a white sherwani and looked as handsome as ever. All their outfits, right from Mehendi to reception, were designed by Manish Malhotra at his Hyderabad store in Banjara Hills. The couple has taken a break from work for a few weeks and will head for their honeymoon soon. 

Career-wise, Varun wrapped up his new film, Operation Valentine, a few days ago. He plays a fighter pilot in the film. Varun has also signed a film titled Matka, which will start shooting soon. Lavanya has wrapped up shooting for a web series for Disney+ Hotstar. Bigg Boss 5 winner Abhijet plays the male lead in the series.
