Lavanya Tripathi is one of the most talented actresses in Telugu cinema. Post her wedding, she slowed down a bit in her career but has not stopped signing films. As reported by OTTplay, she has signed a new female-centric film.
The film was officially announced on December 15, 2024, coinciding with her birthday. Titled Sathi Leelavathi, the film will be directed by Tatineni Satya and jointly produced by Durga Devi Pictures and Trio Studios on a decent budget.
The first look showcases Lavanya in a traditional avatar, and a small video teaser reveals the title intriguingly. Sathi Leelavathi is a famous title, previously used for a Kamal Haasan starrer released years ago. This reuse of the name has created curiosity, and we hope the film lives up to the expectations.
Director Tatineni Satya, known for Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu with Nani and S.M.S. with Sudheer Babu, has revealed that Lavanya Tripathi will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar in Sathi Leelavathi. Produced by Nagamohan Babu M and Rajesh T, the film’s regular shooting is set to commence soon.
Mickey J. Meyer is composing the music, while Binendra Menon is handling the cinematography. The dialogues are being penned by Uday Pottipadu, with Kosanam Vittal as the art director and Satish Suriya as the editor.
Lavanya was last seen in the hit web series Miss Perfect, where she played a fun role. This time, she is set to take on an author-backed role in Sathi Leelavathi, which promises to be even more exciting. The makers are planning to release the film by the summer of 2025.
