The action-packed entertainer stars Vishal and Sunaina in the lead

Vishal's long-delayed action-packed entertainer Laththi has finally hit screens. The actor plays Grade I constable Muruganantham, an honest and upright cop. But his life changes forever after his encounter with a dreaded gangster. The film is directed by R Vinothkumar and bankrolled by Ramana and Nandhaa. Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The shoot and the release of the film had been delayed indefinitely after the actor got injured on the sets multiple times during the shooting.
The actor had shared on his social media page a day ahead of the release, "Looking forward for all your Wishes & Blessings for #Laththi / #Laatti releasing tomorrow, GB (sic)."
Talking about his character in the film, Vishal had recently shared that he plays the father of a 7-year-old kid. The story revolves around a police constable who gets into an ordeal who goes to the extremes to save his family. Sunaina says that she plays Vishal's character's wife and that she is a very talkative and jovial person. Vishal and Sunaina are teaming up after a long span after their last release, Samar. The stunts for the film have been choreographed by Peter Hein. The digital rights of the film have been bagged by Sun NXT. This will be Vishal's second film of the year after Veerame Vaagai Soodum. The film is now streaming on ZEE5.
