Laththi OTT release date: When and where to watch the high-octane action flick starring Vishal online

Vishal has had two releases in 2022. His second outing, Laththi, helmed by debutant A Vinoth Kumar had good expectations surrounding it before release. However, the movie, which hit the screens on December 22, opened to mixed response. Sunainaa played the female lead in the project which has Ramana, Thalaivasal Vijay and others in notable characters.

The film is now gearing up for both digital and satellite release. Ramana and Nandaa have jointly bankrolled the movie under Rana Productions. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for the film which has cinematography handled by Balasubramanian and Balakrishna Thota.

The story of Laththi revolves around a police constable who is under suspension. With the help of a senior cop, he joins back to duty and starts leading a happy family life. But a favour he does for the senior cop lands him in trouble. A dreaded goon targets him and his son. How does he escape from his clutches?

Peter Hein's action choreography is the prime highlight of the movie which has dedicated performance from Vishal as well. However, the lack of an engaging screenplay in the latter half makes the film an okayish fare.  

Laththi will drop on Sun NXT on January 14. We had told you earlier that the OTT platform had acquired the movie's digital rights. NB Srikanth's slick editing and Kannan's art direction are other impressive factors in the project. The movie was supposed to hit the screens in August initially.

But Vishal getting injured multiple times and pending production works made makers change its release date to December. The film was released in multiple languages.
