Meiyazhagan – Theatres (September 27)

Meiyazhagan is an upcoming Tamil film starring actors Karthi and Arvind Swamy in the lead roles. The film is directed by Prem Kumar who previously helmed the critically acclaimed 96. Meiyazhagan is a family drama and is a story that takes place in one night. Actors Sri Divya, Rajkiran and others are also part of the film, which is produced by Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment. Govind Vasantha has scored the music for the film.

Hitler – Theatres (September 27)

Hitler is touted to be a political thriller film, and stars Vijay Antony in the lead roles. The cast of the film also includes Riya Suman, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Charanraj, Reddinn Kingsley, Vivek Prasanna, and Aadukalam Naren. It is written and directed by Dana SA.

Sattam En Kayil – Theatres (September 27)

Sattam En Kayil is a crime thriller film headlined by actor Sathish. The film is directed by Chachhi, who previously directed Sixer. Apart from Sathish, the film also stars Vidya Pradeep, Ajay Raj, Pavel Navageethan, Riythvika, and Venba in important roles.

Petta Rap – Theatres (September 27)

Petta Rap is an upcoming Tamil film starring Prabhu Deva and Vedhika in the lead roles. The film is expected to be a full-fledged family entertainer. Actors Kalabhavan Shajohn, Bagavathi Perumal, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gobi, and Vivek Prasanna are also part of the cast, with D Imman scoring the music. SJ Sinu is the director of Petta Rap.

Blink – Aha Tamil (September 25)

Blink is a science fiction thriller written and directed by debutant Srinidhi Bengaluru. The film stars Dheekshith Shetty and Chaithra J Achar in lead roles. The film revolves around a 24-year-old man who hides the fact that he failed MA from his mother, and relies on his girlfriend's support. However, all hell breaks loose when an old man claiming to know the whereabouts of the man's estranged father. 

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram – Netflix (September 26)

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is an action drama starring Nani in the lead role. The film is directed by Vivek Athreya and also stars SJ Suryah and Priyanka Arul Mohan. The film revolves around a young man who promises his mother that he will remain calm all the days of the week, and can unleash his anger only on Saturdays. Just as he grows up, the man gets embroiled with a ruthless cop who tortures a particular village’s people mercilessly.

Demonte Colony 2 – ZEE5 (September 27)

Demonte Colony 2 is horror thriller film serving as sequel to Demonte Colony. Headlined by Arulnithi, the film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar. The horror thriller franchise is helmed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, who has said that the franchise will have two more parts upcoming. The sequel revolves in the aftermath of four friends entering a haunted bungalow to retrieve a necklace going awry. It follows the ill fates of Debbie (Priya Bhavani Shankar) and Raghunanthan (Arulnithi) crossing paths, as they have to face the cursed spirits of Demonte Colony.
