Jio Studios and Aamir Khan Productions reveal March 1, 2024, as the official release date for Kiran Rao's upcoming directed film Laapataa Ladies. The film's teaser earlier provided a humorous insight into the filmmaker's world, and now viewers can watch the complete film in another four months. A standing ovation and critical acclaim at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) cemented the film's place as one of the best ever made around the world. We have to wait and watch how the audience receives the film upon its theatrical release.

The makers of the comic entertainment have announced the film's upcoming release date with a new poster that gives viewers a glimpse into the offbeat world of the Laapataa Ladies. Kiran, in only her second film as director, is sure to deliver an audience-pleasing masterpiece.

Dedicated pre-production efforts
Meanwhile, the characters of lead actors Pratibha Rana, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Nitanshi Goel belong to the heartlands of India in the film. Earlier, while talking about the same, all the key characters of the film went to a rigorous and sincere workshop session for the film. They showed up to the film's pre-production meeting. To play the role in the film, Kiran made sure they had to learn a new accent, vocabulary, body language, and acting style.
After seeing the teaser, people were startled to learn that all three actors are from major cities rather than any of the little towns shown in the film. The major actors in the filmmaker's film must have worked very hard to achieve this. Despite being based in Mumbai, they dedicated two months to thorough pre-production work on the film, which is noteworthy. The performers needed the training session so that they could delve into the character's craft. Kiran takes this approach to filmmaking, making sure that each of her projects is flawless.
Produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande, with direction by Kiran Rao, Laapataa Ladies is a Jio Studios release. Biplab Goswami wrote the screenplay for the film, which was produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions and won an award. Sneha Desai wrote the screenplay and dialogue, while Divyanidhi Sharma wrote some of the dialogue as well.
