L2 Empuraan teaser final copy locked; Prithviraj Sukumaran drops a massive update

L2 Empuraan, the highly anticipated Mohanlal starrer directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is nearing the final leg of its production. The project, which is a sequel to the actor-director duo’s 2019-released blockbuster Lucifer, is unarguably one of the most anticipated Malayalam films of 2025. Recently, director Prithviraj Sukumaran took to his official Instagram handle, and dropped a big update on the L2 Empuraan teaser, leaving the fans and cinephiles highly excited.

Recently, Prithviraj Sukumaran took to his official social media handles and dropped the click of a music player, with ‘Empuraan teaser final music’ title on it. It is now confirmed that the final copy of the L2 Empuraan teaser is locked with Deepak Dev’s music score. Interestingly, it is also confirmed that the first teaser of the Lucifer sequel has a runtime of two minutes and 31 seconds. The L2 Empuraan teaser is expected to complete its censor formalities, in a couple of days.

If the reports are to be believed, L2 Empuraan teaser will be officially released on January 25 or 26, 2025, on the special occasion of production banner Aashirvad Cinemas’ silver jubilee celebrations. Along with the highly anticipated official teaser, director Prithviraj Sukumaran and his team are planning to drop some major updates on the highly anticipated film. The makers are also planning an elaborated marketing campaign for the film, ahead of its grand theatrical release in March 27, 2025.
