On Instagram, actor Prithviraj Sukumaran announced that the third schedule of Mohanlal's eagerly awaited film L2 Empuraan has concluded.
Actor Indrajith Sukumaran posted photos of himself with the film's director, Prithviraj, in New York as part of the third schedule. In the US, this schedule had started by the end of February.

Prithviraj and his brother Indrajith Sukumaran, who is reported to play a bigger part in the Lucifer sequel, were recently spotted at the airport while travelling to the United States. Their spouses, Supriya Menon and Poornima Indrajith, were also seen along with them.
Tovino Thomas also joined the USA schedule a few days ago. Fans of the actor were ecstatic to see his still from a recent shoot that included members of the L2 Empuraan crew.
Following this schedule in the USA, Prithviraj Sukumaran and the team will return to India to finish filming. The fourth schedule for the film is reportedly set to start in Chennai in the third week of March. Prithviraj plans to spend a month filming most of the movie in Chennai before heading back to Kerala to finish the last few scenes. The much-anticipated project officially began in October 2023, with a first schedule in Ladakh.
In this sequel to the 2019 film Lucifer, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will return as the popular Khureshi Ab'Ram, aka Stephen Nedumpally. The movie poster shows Stephen Nedumpilly staring at a combat helicopter that is flying towards him while gripping a rifle.
Prithviraj will reprise his role as Zayed Masood in the movie. The other Lucifer cast members, including Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Baiju Santhosh, and Sai Kumar, are expected to feature in the action drama as well. For L2 Empuraan, Sujith Vaassudev is in charge of the camera work. Deepak Dev composed the songs and the original score. This film is being financially backed by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas.
