L2 Empuraan – Next schedule of Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film to start rolling on THIS date

Prithviraj Sukumaran, the renowned actor-director, is now busy with the making of his third directorial venture, L2 Empuraan. Mohanlal, the Malayalam superstar, is set to return to the franchise, to reprise the much-loved character Stephen Nedumpally aka Khureshi Ab’Ram. The much-awaited project started rolling in October 2023, with a Ladakh schedule. Later, director Prithviraj and his team moved to the UK for the second schedule of the project.

The cast and crew members of L2 Empuraan, including leading man Mohanlal are currently in the USA, for the upcoming schedule of the movie. Indrajith Sukumaran, who is set to reprise the character Govardhan in the film, is also a part of the USA schedule.

L2 Empuraan’s next schedule to go on floors in THIS date

According to recent updates, the next schedule of L2 Empuraan is expected to go on floors on February 27, 2024, Tuesday. Reportedly, director Prithviraj Sukumaran and his team are planning to wrap up the upcoming schedule of the film in 10 days. Recently, Prithviraj and his brother Indrajith Sukumaran, who reportedly plays an even bigger part in the Lucifer sequel, were spotted at the airport with their respective wives Supriya Menon and Poornima Indrajith, as they headed to the USA. The celebrated actor-director is expected to drop an update on the next schedule of the film by next week.

The upcoming Chennai schedule of L2 Empuraan

After wrapping up the next schedule in the USA, Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and the team will return to India for the rest of the filming. As per the reports, the fourth schedule of the movie will start by the third week of March 2024 in Chennai. The recent updates suggest that director Prithviraj is planning a one-month-long schedule for the movie in Chennai, before heading back to Kerala to shoot the rest of the portions. A massive set is being erected in Ernakulam, Kerala, for the Mohanlal starrer.

Along with Mohanlal and Indrajith Sukumaran, actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran is also set to reprise his character Zayed Masood, in the movie. The other Lucifer cast members including Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Baiju Santhosh, Sai Kumar, Shivaji Guruvayoor, and Saniya Iyappan are also expected to return to the sequel. Sujith Vaassudev is the DOP. Deepak Dev composes songs and the original score. L2 Empuraan is jointly bankrolled by Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions.
