L2 Empuraan cast - THESE actors join Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film

L2 Empuraan, the upcoming Mohanlal starrer directed by actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran, is one of the most-anticipated projects of Malayalam cinema. The new schedule of the movie, which is a sequel to the 2019-released blockbuster Lucifer, has been progressing in Kerala’s capital city, Thiruvananthapuram. The team is currently busy filming popular actress Manju Warrier’s portions. Meanwhile, the recent updates suggest that Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sharaf U Dheen have joined the L2 Empuraan cast.

The sources close to Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ambitious project have now dropped an exciting update on the film’s star cast. As you may know, most of the prominent stars of Lucifer are set to reprise their respective roles in L2 Empruaan. However, along with the familiar faces, the highly anticipated project is also set to introduce an additional star cast. Reportedly, popular Malayalam actors Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sharf U Dheen, have joined the Lucifer sequel.

Even though nothing much has been revealed about the trio’s roles, the reports suggest that all three of them are playing important parts in the Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial. Some unconfirmed reports also suggest that Suraj Venjaramoodu will have a recurring role and might also appear in the third part of the trilogy. However, the makers of the Mohanlal starrer have not officially announced the star cast, yet. Just like its prequel Lucifer, the L2 Empuraan star cast will also be revealed through the character posters, which are expected to be released a couple of weeks before the film’s release.

L2 Empuraan Kerala schedule

As mentioned before, director Prithviraj Sukumaran and his team are currently busy with the Thiruvananthapuram schedule of the film. A location video of Prithviraj and Manju Warrier, who is reprising her character Priyadarshini Ramdas in L2 Empuraan, recently went viral on social media. Mohanlal, the leading man, however, has not joined the new schedule yet. After completing the shooting at the capital city, Prithviraj and the crew will get back to the pending foreign schedules, and will later kickstart the Kochi schedule.
