Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai: ZEE5 shares a quirky poster of Surbhi Jyoti’s character in the film

Jassie Gill-Surbhi Jyoti starrer Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai is an upcoming comedy-drama film on ZEE5 that is inspired by a true event where the pictures of a currency note that had Sonam Bewafa Hai written on it had gone viral. The forthcoming film marks the Punjabi actor-singer Gill’s third Hindi movie after Sonakshi Sinha’s Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi and Panga that has Kangana Ranaut playing the lead. But this comedy film would be the television star Surbhi's debut in Bollywood.

Today, the OTT giant shared a poster and said what matters in Sonam’s (Surbhi) life the most, the caption reads, “Sonam ki life me ‘sirf Cash se hi Aish’ hai! Find out if she’s really a #BewafaOrNot soon on #ZEE5 #KyaMeriSonamGuptaBewafaHai (sic).”

The leading lady of the upcoming film too shared the same poster with the same caption on Instagram.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, the hero shared a poster of his character on Instagram, which captioned, “Sintoo Bhaiya ki smile ke piche chhupa hai unke dil ka dard  #sintoobhaiyamatlablarge #BewafaOrNot Find out soon only on #zee5 with #KyaMeriSonamGuptaBewafaHai (sic).”

The forthcoming comedy flick marks the last film of the late veteran actress Surekha Sikri, who died last month due to cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence. Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai also includes Vijay Raaz, Bijendra Kala and Atul Shrivastava in key roles. Presented by Jayantilal Gada, the film is set to exclusively premiere on ZEE5 in September.
