Kushi: The theatrical rights of Vijay Deverakonda-Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer sold for a bomb, deets inside

Kushi is the latest Telugu biggie that will release on a Pan-India level on September 1, 2023. Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu play the main leads in this film which has been directed by Shiva Nirvana, who last made Tuck Jagadish with Nani. 

Kushi is produced by the makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers on a decent budget. Well, the recently concluded music concert created a solid buzz for the film all over. The songs of the film have become chartbusters and have given music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab a new lease of life in his career.

Thanks to his songs, the film will open huge in Tamil and Telugu as per the latest trade updates. On the other hand, as the film has Vijay Deverakonda as the main lead, there is a good buzz. Despite the star hero's last failure, Liger, the pre-release business of Kushi has been done on a massive note. 

The theatrical rights of Andhra Pradesh have been sold for Rs 20 crores. Mythri Movie Makers are releasing the film on their own in the Telangana region and we have come to know that Kushi's theatrical rights have been sold at a whopping Rs 60 crores which is huge for even Vijay and Samantha's standards. 

But the makers are confident that if the film opens to a solid talk, the target of Rs 60 crores is a cake walk. Liger was a flop and the makers ended up in massive losses. But things are different this time around say the makers. 

Shiva Nirvana has given so me good hits in the past and is known to make sensible films. So, the team pinned all hopes on his narration. The chemistry between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha has also clicked big time and we need to see how much will Kushi make at the box office.
