Kushi's success has given a massive breather to the career of Vijay Deverakonda. The film has started on a positive note at the box office and the day two numbers are also proof. Kushi was directed by Shiva Nirvana of Ninnu Kori, Majili, and Tuck Jagadish fame and had Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead.
Well, we at OTTplay have already reported that Kushi made Rs 16 crores net on day one worldwide. The day two numbers are out and the romantic drama has made Rs 9 crores worldwide. These are impressive numbers as per the trade and today being a Sunday, the occupancy is quite good.

With this, the film's total collection has touched the 25 crore mark. Kushi is doing exceptionally well in the Nizam region of Telanaga as it has made Rs 8 crore share already and is going strong. Hesham Abdul Wahab's music is one of the main reasons for the film's success at the box office.
Vijay Deverakonda played a lover boy in this film and his looks and performance are appreciated a lot. But the one who has garnered more attention is Samantha Ruth Prabhu who played a crucial role in the film. The star heroine went through a lot during the making of Kushi. Due to her illness, the film was stalled for close to a year, and even with deep health issues, Samantha came ahead and wrapped up the film.
Kushi is a big sigh of relief for director Shiva Nirvana as his last film, Tuck Jagadish was a big flop. It came out on OTT and was panned for its bad writing. With this success, he is back in the game. The same is true for Vijay as well. Everyone wrote him off with Liger and he is back in form with Kushi.
As per the news, Vijay is all set to watch Kushi with his fans in Hyderabad tomorrow. Mythri Movie Makers are the production house behind this film and they have planned some extensive post-release promotions for Kushi in the days to come.
