Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon team up for Martin Prakkat’s next, scripted by Nna Thaan Case Kodu director

After teaming up in several hit films including Romans and Madhuranaranga, Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon are set to reunite for Nayattu and Charlie director Martin Prakkat’s next. The movie, which will also have Kunchacko as a co-producer, is scripted by Android Kunjappan Ver. 5.25 and Nna, Thaan Case Kodu director Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval.

The team made the formal announcement during the success meet of Martin’s latest production venture Pranaya Vilasam, which had Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan and Mamitha Baiju in the lead. The upcoming movie will have Shyju Khalid as its cinematographer.

Kunchacko also took to his social media pages, late on Thursday, to announce the film that features his “dream combo”. Sharing a collage of those associated with the movie, the actor wrote, “With some of my best friends and some of the best in the industry.” The actor also shared his excitement of teaming up with his “evergreen pair” Biju Menon in the movie.

The duo has earlier shared screen space in several entertainers such as Three Dots, Bhaiyya Bhaiyya, 101 Weddings and Ordinary. The genre of the upcoming movie is yet to be revealed by the team, but it is expected to go on floors this year.

Ratheesh, who had helmed Kunchacko’s all-time biggest hit Nna, Thaan Case Kodu last year, has also scripted Suraj Venjaramoodu and Babu Antony’s Madanolsavam, which is directed by Sudheesh Gopinath.

Meanwhile, Kunchacko will next be seen in Jude Anthany Joseph’s upcoming movie 2018, which is based on the 2018 Kerala floods. The movie, which also has Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali and Narain, is set to hit theatres in April. The actor has also completed shooting for Tinu Pappachan’s Chaaver, which is a political thriller that is scripted by Joy Mathew and has Antony Varghese, Arjun Ashokan and Manoj KU in pivotal roles. Kunchacko is currently shooting for Ezra director Jay K’s Grrr.
