The makers of the Malayalam upcoming movie, Grrr, released its trailer today (June 8), a week ahead of its theatrical release. The comedy drama, which features Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu in lead roles, will hit the big screens on June 14. A hilarious series of events that take place at the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo on a single day are hinted at in the trailer, which provides an idea of the film's plot.

The one-minute, 57-second video opens with astonishing news, Rejimon Nadar, the main character, may have been killed out of honour or betrayed in love, in the wake of his disappearance. It appears in a matter of seconds that an inebriated Rejimon leaped into the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo's lion's den. Suraj, playing Haridas, an officer at the zoo, is tasked with saving the young man before fire and police officials show up. But he and Rejimon become trapped in the den, and now the task is to rescue them both.

The trailer also shows Haridas's bond with his wife in between shots of Rejimon's relationship with a girl. The video also makes hints about the media circus surrounding the hilarious issue.

In the teaser, a man was seen leaping into the lion's den at the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo. Even though it might not seem like an accident, viewers will learn the precise reason behind the act once the movie is released. As he gets closer to the lion, he seems confident in his move rather than scared. Upon encountering the lion in the den, Kunchacko Boban's character is seen evoking shock and fear in zoo visitors.

The director of this movie is Jay K. The film, which features a zoo as part of the plot, is essentially a slice-of-life comedy drama about the connections between people, as the director had previously stated in an interview. The film's cast includes Rajesh Madhavan, Shruti Ramachandran, Anagha, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Shobi Thilakan.
