Kudumbasthan trailer OUT: Manikandan’s film details the recipe of becoming a family man

We had earlier reported that actor Manikandan will be starring in a film titled Kudumbasthan. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on January 24. Ahead of the release, the makers released the trailer of the film on social media on Saturday, January 18. Kudumbasthan is expected to be a light-hearted family entertainer.

Kudumbasthan trailer is out

Kudumbasthan is an upcoming Tamil film starring Manikandan in the lead role. The film’s trailer was released by the makers ahead of the release on January 24.

The trailer begins with the voiceover about how a family man is made, as we go through the life stages of a man from the time of his marriage to all the problems he encounters, right from financial responsibilities to family duties. The voiceover narration is similar to a recipe, as we see the protagonist Manikandan getting married, finding new additions to his life, and more burdens. The protagonist has to wade through many issues, as he gets boggled by commitments. How does the man get out of these troubles and what happens to him, forms the crux.

The film is directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy who penned the script and screenplay along with Prasanna Balachandran. The latter has also written the dialogues. The technical crew consists of Vaisagh scoring the music and Kannan Balu as editor. Sujith N Subramaniam is the cinematographer.

Kudumbasthan plot

The upcoming film will be set against the backdrop of Coimbatore. The film will revolve around the journey of a newlywed couple. Laced with humor, Kudumbasthan will be a story about the challenges faced by the husband and his adventures.

Apart from Manikandan, the film also stars actors Saannve Megghana, Guru Somasundaram, director R Sundarajan, Prasanna Balachandran, Kanakamma of Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey fame, Jenson Diwakar and others. Kudumbasthan will be released on January 24.
