Kudumbasthan OTT partner revealed: Manikandan’s family drama to stream here after theatrical run

Actor Manikandan's next titled Kudumbasthan is all set to hit theatres on January 24, Friday. The film, touted to be a light-hearted family drama, is directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy. The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by ZEE5 and will be soon available on OTTplay Premium as well.

Kudumbasthan, starring Manikandan in the lead role, is gearing up for release this week. The film is all set to hit theatres on Friday (January 24). Ahead of this, the team announced that the streaming partner of the film as ZEE5. You can watch Kudumbasthan on the streaming partner after its theatrical run with your OTTplay Premium subscription.

The film is directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy who penned the script and screenplay along with actor Prasanna Balachandran, who has also appeared in the film. Rajeshwar will be marking his directorial debut with the film, although he has earlier worked on skit sketches for the famous YouTube channel Nakkalites. The latter has also written the dialogues.

Kudumbasthan cast and crew

The cast of Kudumbasthan is led by Manikandan who is supported by Saannve Megghana, Guru Somasundaram, director R Sundarajan, Prasanna Balachandran, Kanakamma of Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey fame, Jenson Diwakar and others. As the title suggests, the film will revolve around a married man who is boggled by many issues and how he runs his errands amid his responsibilities and pressure. The film is told in a light-hearted way.

The film is produced by Vinoth Kumar under Cinemakaaran banner. The technical crew consists of Sujith N Subramaniam cranking the camera and Kannan Balu handling the edits.

Kudumbasthan comes from Manikandan, who has tasted success in his last two ventures, Good Night and Lover. Both the films have resonated with the audience and enjoyed positive reception.
