Kudmayi from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani: Netizens call Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s song as ‘Bridal Song of the Year’

Filmmaker Karan Johar knows that every person in his/her life dreams of a fairytale wedding, and this time again, he has emoted this feeling perfectly well on screen. Today, the renowned filmmaker dropped the latest track from his superhit film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, titled ‘Kudmayi’.

The essence of this song is filled with love and affection. Set in the backdrop of a grand Hindu wedding with drops of golden hues, superstars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh as ‘Rani’ and ‘Rocky’ steal hearts in this song.

For those who have not watched the movie, here is a synopsis of the story. Ranveer as Rocky and Alia and Rani are head over heels in love with each other. However, they both unanimously agree that they will not get married to each other if their parents are not comfortable with their relationship. Through a series of twists and turns, Rocky and Rani end up being together and the song, Kudmayi, proves it.

Saregama Music dropped the video of the song on its official YouTube handle and wrote in the caption: “Witness the magical moment when two hearts become one, and love conquers all amidst cheers and tears of joy. #Kudmayi is out now! Reacting to this song, one YouTube user wrote, “If you listen to this after watching the movie in the end, you will feel the real magic of this song. That vibe makes you feel that it’s a real and original happy ending.”

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released theatrically on July 28. So far, it has minted over Rs 60 crores at the box office in India.
