On his Instagram handle, Rakesh Roshan shared a picture of himself with Hrithik Roshan and wrote: "Duggu, 25 years ago, I launched you as an actor, and today, after 25 years, you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers—Aditya Chopra & myself—to take forward our most ambitious film, Krrish 4. Wishing you all the success in this new avatar, with good wishes and blessings!"
He further added, "Hrithik and Adi (Aditya Chopra) coming together as a producer-director pair, with me behind them, is a rare and creatively thrilling combination. I am sure they will turn Krrish 4 into a theatrical experience unlike anything ever made in India. Our dream is to make India proud globally with a larger-than-life spectacle like Krrish 4.”
